Tay Richardson is a Black, nonbinary/trans, and queer therapist, educator, and consultant dedicated to fostering collaborative, affirming, and empowering support services. Their approach to mental health is centered on creating a supportive, nonjudgmental space where individuals can explore their identities, challenges, and strengths. Tay’s work is deeply informed by both professional expertise and lived experience, fueling their commitment to providing liberating and affirming care.

Tay holds a Master of Science in Counseling with a focus on Multicultural Community Counseling and Social Justice Education from San Diego State University, as well as a sex therapy certificate from the California School of Integral Studies. Their academic background also includes a B.S. in Arts Management and Music: Studio Composition and an M.A. in Entrepreneurship in the Arts from SUNY Purchase College.

Beyond direct client support, Tay is passionate about consultation and training, helping to create inclusive, equitable environments for historically erotically marginalized communities such as trans, intersex, and gender-diverse communities, as well as queer, BIPOC, neurodivergent/neurocomplex, kinky, and non-monogamous individuals. Their work emphasizes fostering spaces that uplift diverse identities and lived experiences.

Outside of work, Tay enjoys creating and listening to music, exploring horror-related content, and spending quality time with their dogs.
