With a strong commitment to understanding each person’s unique story, Kirstyn focuses on identifying the cognitive, emotional, and behavioral factors that contribute to mental health and substance use challenges.
Her therapeutic approach is grounded in a humanistic perspective and thoughtfully integrates evidence-based and mindfulness-based practices, drawing from CBT, DBT, ACT, EMDR, and other third-wave modalities to support clients in a compassionate and effective way. She has worked across inpatient, outpatient, and residential treatment settings, offering detailed neuropsychological assessments and therapeutic services.
Kirstyn received her Bachelor’s (BA) in Psychology from the University of San Diego and her Master’s (MA) and Doctorate (PsyD) in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology.
