Max is a firm believer in creating a healing environment that is beneficial for patients and staff alike. Max has experience in leading a variety of extremely challenging clinical settings, from inpatient psychiatric hospitals and residential and outpatient mental health treatment centers to state prisons. Max helped develop and implement a chronic pain management treatment manual that was adopted by the entire prison system of the State of California. Max understands the importance of examining all levels of patient functioning via neuropsychological assessment for proper, holistic, and effective patient diagnoses and medication management.
Max is a licensed psychologist in the State of California. He received his Bachelors (BA) in Psychology from Kenyon College as well as Master’s (MA) and Doctoral (PsyD) degree in Clinical Psychology from California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP).
