Dr. Rose Schlaff, PT, DPT, WHC, IF (she/her) is a pelvic physical therapist, sexologist, and recognized mentor in integrative sexual wellness—fusing neuroscience with holistic health and pleasure science to revolutionize how we approach LGBTQIA+ mental health.
At Element Q and Monima, she leads transformative clinician trainings and therapeutic groups designed to leverage the body’s innate capacity to heal the mind. Her work combines rapid nervous system regulation (often in under 30 seconds), trauma-informed pelvic and sexual health education, and holistic, evidence-based tools like circadian-aligned light exposure, targeted nutrition, and functional neurology to help clients feel more grounded, empowered, and alive. Her trainings don’t just offer new tools—they change the way you see the body, the brain, and what healing actually looks like.
Dr. Rose is the creator of the Reclaim the Flame® method—an evidence-based approach that blends neuroscience, somatic awareness, and affirming trauma-informed sex counseling to help clients and clinicians alike transform disconnection into desire, pain into pleasure, and shame into embodied confidence and connection.
She has led LGBTQIA+ affirming care trainings for major San Diego hospitals, including Alvarado and Balboa Navy Medical Center, and has trained Sex Therapists and Counselors at the University of Michigan and SDSU for the last 8 years.
