Keoni is a Trans, Non-Binary, Biracial, U.S. Army Veteran whose journey into the field of Social Work is rooted in deep empathy, resilience, and a passion for advocacy. After serving in the military, they found themselves drawn to the stories and struggles of fellow veterans and loved ones navigating life after service—particularly the often-overlooked impacts of trauma and mental health. These powerful conversations ignited a calling, leading them to pursue a career centered on healing and support. They have provided compassionate, trauma-informed care in inpatient psychiatric hospitals and residential treatment programs tailored to LGBTQ+ individuals. Guided by an unwavering commitment to equity, inclusion, and holistic wellness, Keoni is dedicated to uplifting marginalized voices and creating spaces where healing and authenticity can thrive.
Keoni earned a Bachelor’s degree (B.S) in Business with a concentration in Finance from the University of Pheonix and a Master’s in Social Work from California State University San Marcos.
